Wow- what a great Winter Champs!

Defying predictions, the weather for SSJC's Winter Championships on Sunday 20th July, was blissfully mild and pleasant.  A special guest to SSJC was course designer   David King from Opotiki in New Zealand, with David Lawrence and Mark Atkins designing the courses in the other rings. Judges included Lyn McLeod, Joyce Brook, Margo Meredith and Bob Brook.

The day was made successful by the generous support of sponsors that included: Horze Australia Saddlery North Richmond- Edward Risa. Oaks Sporthorses-    CP Sporthorses  - George Sanna, Karen and Tony Sheehan EQUEST WORLD, Agnes Banks Equine Clinic-. Magoo Optics at Springwood-   Chris & Larry Prestwidge, Oakville Equestrian Centre-   Peter & Darren. Horsepower, Abbey Digital Photography.

A point score was held for the division Championships and the winners were Amateur Champion- Nathan Carswell, Young Rider Champion- Rhys Stone, and Junior Champion Elizabeth Koob.
