Next Confidence Clinic- Thursday 27th August 09

Hi

Our next Confidence Clinic will be held on Thursday 27th August. Our first clinic was a great success and we are looking forward to bringing you even more skills and knowledge to  boost your  confidence with horses both while riding and when handling them on the ground.

If you attended our first clinic you will be given first preference and  we will be building on day one skills and exercises. If you missed the first clinic, its not a problem as all particiipants are guided at their own pace and preferences.

The clinics will cover groundwork, ridden work and some theory and will also involve some elective activities to assist with confidence building.

Activities include:

Vaulting on the lunge with Lynn Lynch and her specially lunge-trained vaulting horses to help with your position and can also assist with problems in sitting trot and canter confidence.

Feldenkrais on horseback with Catherine Hamber.   Catherine is a qualified physiotherapist who instructs riders on their position and posture and how this affects the horse.

Riding to improve your aids & their application with Christine Johnson EFA L2 CE

A percentage of the proceeds from the clinics will be going to the scholarship fund set up in memory of much-loved local dressage coach Anne Honner who passed away in 2007.  The scholarship is presented yearly to an Australian rider on an Australian bred horse that the rider has trained to Medium level in dressage.  For more details see: www.annehonner.com.au

Places are limited and your place will be reserved on reciept of your payment & enrolment form. Please see the attached  enrolment form.

Call me if you need more information or want to discuss your special needs.

Cheers
Chrissie
