SSJC Training Day 2nd August 09

SSJC Training Day 2nd August 09
A beautiful day of showjumping at Clarendon, today marred only by the thousands of cars lining up to attend the Holden swap meet in the adjacent showgrounds.
Quite a good attendance considering many larger teams of horses were away at the Toowoomba World Cup Show in Queensland, where news just in is that Chris Chugg on Vivant won the world cup in great style.
Courses were designed by Mark Atkins and Paul Tridgell and all rode well.
Coordinators Katrina Alpert and Sue Coonan were pleased with the days proceedings but have asked competitors to please be more diligent with the pre entries on global. All SSJC events and training days require pre entries, so be sure to check closing times well in advance on
www.globalentriesonline.com.au to avoid disappointment.
SSJC Vice President and tireless worker, David Lawrence, is in hospital with a blood infection. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
The next competition day will be on Sunday 16th August. Entries close 9pm Friday 14th August.
